Rakhudu in India

The Assistant Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Keletso Rakhudu is in India attending the 10th Confederation of India Exim Bank conclave on India-Africa Project Partnership that started on Saturday March 8 to Wednesday March 12.
A press release from the ministry stated that the Exim Bank conclave provided a platform for discussing business opportunities and creation of partnership. It also said the meeting was meant to give African business communities, governments and financial institutions an opportunity to interact with decision makers from Indian government, financial institutions and the private sector.
Again, it stated that the Exim Bank conclave catalysed Indian participation as a key partner in Africa’s development process which will help create a long term vision for economic engagements between India and Africa.
Furthermore, it said attendance of the conclave at ministerial level will give Botswana an opportunity to explore possible areas of collaborations with Indian institutions, in sectors such as the leather and pharmaceuticals.
Mr Rakhudu is accompanied by the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre chief executive officer, Mr Lebotse Sejoe. They are expected
back home on March 13. Ends
