TASC overcome Amakhosi

TASC fought hard to earn maximum points in their first division north encounter against Amakhosi on Saturday.
The uncompromising TASC netted three goals to take the three maximum points, raising coach Boinyana Galeboe’s confidence that the team would be elevated to the be Mobile Premier League.
Galeboe said his team had not been doing well owing to the fact that it was still being rebuilt as most of the experienced players preferred to play for the premier league teams when their team was relegated to the first division.
Worse still, the coach said he had just lost four key players in the recently closed transfer window. The players partnership with the new ones, he believed, could have made the team’s dreams of getting back to the elite league a reality.
Galeboe, however, said despite the setbacks, they managed to get a striker in Mothata Lucas from Black Peril.
In another tie over the weekend, former premier league teams, Great North Tigers (GNT) and Satmos fought it out in a tassle which saw the latter emerging victorious via a 4-1 margin.
Satmos, who came late for the game, had it easy against their hosts scoring three goals before half time. GNT coach, Edward Leposo said his team was struggling financially so much that it could not camp before games.
He nonetheless said they were going to fight for survival in the first division north to at least be among the top six at the end of the season. The coach added that they would attempt to make a comeback to the premier league in the coming season.
He hoped that the lower league’s sponsorship would come to the rescue of struggling teams. ENDS
