The Minister of Health, Dr John Seakgosing is in India where he will officiate at a two-day Global Health conference which starts on Monday, March 3.

A press release from the Ministry of Health stated that the main objective of the conference dubbed The future of health care: A collective vision is to exchange information regarding healthcare challenges in view of establishing sustainable solutions across countries.

The conference is expected to deliver on topics such as prevention health care, primary health and non-communicable diseases, new age health systems of universal access and innovation, talent fast forward, up skill, upscale, private-public-people partnerships and hospitals of the future.

The President of India, Mr Shri Pranab Mukherjee will also grace the event.

Dr Seakgosing, who is accompanied by Princess Marina Hospital superintendent, Dr Kelebogile Motumise will arrive back home on Thursday, March 6. During his absence assistant minister Dr Gloria Somolekae will act as Minister of Health. ENDS
