Still under water supply, the chairperson said upgrading of the Letlhakane booster pump station was completed and had improved water distribution within the village. In his address, Mr Monnaatsie commended stakeholders such as Debswana and Lucara Botswana for their continued support towards community development in the district.

On a different matter, the chairperson noted that the public health sector in the district continued to face challenges such as shortage of skilled manpower, transport and medical supplies among others. On another issue, councillors have been informed that between 2023 and 2025, Boteti district received over P17 million under the Road Levy Fund, enabling the implementation of several impactful projects.
The projects, Mr Monnaatsie said include installation of 30 solar street lights along SS Timbers road in Letlhakane, bush clearing along the bus rank to Mmatshumo road covering approximately 8.7 kilometres and paving of internal roads in Letlhakane and Khumaga.
