CTO decontaminates fuel
20 Feb 2014
Maun Central Transport Organisation has managed to decontaminate nearly 23 000 of diesel that got contaminated after water flowed into fuel storage tanks. Maun recently experienced a lot of rain.
As a result of the contamination, government fleet from across the Ngamiland District could not fuel at the plant. CTO public relations officer, Ms Priscilla Gulubane-Simula said in an interview that the organisation and the supplier had now resolved the problem.
An important part of the solution included sucking water from the fuel tanks. Ms Gulubane-Simula said all the fuel had been decontaminated and government fleet could now fuel at the plant
