Vice President, Mr Ndaba Gaolathe says government will implement the startup programme with grants incubation centres and 30 per cent procurement allocation for youth-led entreprises.

Speaking at the Dreamers Exchange Festival at the Game City Rooftop on June 1, Mr Ndaba said the festival was testament that the youth waiting to be empowered but, were ready to lead.

He also said Botswana was built by dreamers such as Sir Seretse Khama, Sir Ketumile Masire, Motsamai Mpho, Dr Kenneth Koma, who looked beyond their present contraints and saw a free, prosperous and united Botswana.

That same spirit, he said lived in youth film makers, fashio designers, chefs, tour guides, writers, composers, musicians, coders and animators entrepreneurs.

The festival was themed: Step Inot the Dream, was attended by Minister of Youth and Gender Affairs, Ms Lesego Chombo, Hollywood actress Meagan Good, singer and actress La’Myia Good and producer Dijon Tailton and other South African actors and film producers. ENDS
