Anti-corruption hub on cards

The Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime (DCEC) will, in collaboration with the Commonwealth Secretariat, establish an anti-corruption hub.
According to a press release from DCEC, the rationale behind the initiative is to launch Botswana as the regional anti-corruption hub ahead of a joint training initiative between the Commonwealth, United National Development Program (UNDP) and DCEC on the measurement of corruption.
“This opportunity allows anti-corruption agencies across Africa to strengthen relationships with each other,” the release states.
The Vice President, Dr Ponatshego Kedikilwe will officiate at the launch on February 25 at Gaborone Sun. ENDS
