Roads not included in current development plan

The Ministry of Transport and Communications has no plans to upgrade the Molepolole/Lesilakgokong and Kubung/Thamaga roads in neither the current financial year nor the 2014/2015 financial year.
Answering a question from Kgosi Alfred Monnaathebe of Thamaga Region on behalf of the Minister of Transport and Communications, the Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso said the two roads were also not included in the current National Development Plan.
However, she explained that the Ministry of Transport and Communications has plans to upgrade the roads in order to improve their riding quality in the next financial year. Kgosi Monnaathebe had asked when the Molepolole/Lesilakgokong and Kubung/Thamaga roads would be tarred. ENDS
