Venson-Moitoi attends Education World forum

Minister of Education and Skills Development, Dr Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi is in London, United Kingdom to attend the Education World Forum.
A press release from the ministry states that the global ministerial forum will be held from today (Jan 20) until January 22. The release also states that the meeting will bring together ministers with responsibility for education at all levels, captains of the industry in education and academics to discuss improvements in education and learning.
Further, it says Minister Venson-Moitoi, together with other important panellists, is expected to speak on national system level transformation. Other key areas that the panellists will focus on, it adds include topics on the impact of anticipated changes at system level and how to drive improvement in learning and education systems as well as providing exposure to the latest education tools, technologies and solutions.
The forum, the release explains, will also take time to focus on the development of methods and management practice of education and look into challenges of developing new strategies for learning and change. It is held under the theme “Planning for 2015; Policy Making Catalyst for a decade ahead: measurement, reach and enterprise.”
Minister Venson-Moitoi and her entourage are expected back home on January 24. ENDS
