GALO Mall Shopping Complex in collaboration with Yasir Investments will host a back to school fiesta on Saturday.

A press release from one of the event organisers, Mr Goitsemodimo Mokoti said the theme of the event caters for everyone as it celebrates back to school, hence it is dubbed Thuto ga e golelwe.

Mr Mokoti said the event was a great way for everyone, especially students, to get in the mood for school and for parents to buy school essentials for their children.

He explained that there would be classroom set-ups offering face paintings, scholarly gifts and accessories. He added that a cartoonish clown would entertain and take photographs with children. 

The day would also have a general knowledge quiz, puzzles, monopoly, toys and other board games with prizes for winners. 

The quiz would pit the smartest minds from different schools competing for back to school gift vouchers. Other entertainment packages during the day include a model parade fused with a dance flash mob by UC dance crew, music from top local disc jockeys, among them DJ Phat Tee, DJ Drix  and Simply Mbost. Parents are urged to bring their children.

Students from Mater Spei College, Francistown Senior Secondary School and John Mackenzie and other senior schools interested in partaking in the general knowledge quiz should register their names before Friday. Ends
