Shannaz celebrates 20 years

For a business operation to grow, it should take into consideration all clientele and employees satisfaction aspects.
Public Enterprises Evaluation and Privatisation Agency (PEEPA) deputy chief executive officer, Ms Tiny Diswai-Moremi said keeping employees happy would ensure customer satisfaction and lead to continuous business operation and growth.
Speaking at the 20th anniversary celebrations of Shannaz Herbals Beauty Spa’s existence in Botswana, Ms Diswai-Moremi said the beauty spa, is an epitome of good business management.
She advised business owners to emulate Shannaz which she described as a shining example of a well-run and managed business. The beauty spa, she said, has managed to reach its 20 years in existence with a robust sign of growth and strategic plan.
Ms Diswai-Moremi said she has made strides in customer satisfaction, particularly that customer get value for their money.
For her part, Shannaz Herbal beauty Spa owner, Ms Nassrin Ardestani expressed gratitude towards all her clientele for their support.
She said from a small operational room at African Mall, her business has grown through loyal customers whom she cherishes and has a strong attachment to. Ms Ardestani’s long-time friend and beauty therapy specialist at the Ministry of Education and Skills Development, Ms Joanna Collymore said she was excited to find Shannaz Herbal beauty spa when he came to Botswana in 1998 as an expatriate.
“I then knew that all my facials, manicure and pedicure needs were going to be well taken care of,” she said. Ms Collymore said Ms Ardestan was helpful as she used to lecture on beauty therapy on part time basis at Gaborone Technical College.The beauty spa also used its 20th celebrations to open a new shop at the Central Business District, Square Mart Building in Gaborone and also introduced a new trend of make-up called Kryolan Professional.
