Sefalana Broadhurst recently gifted 45 pupils of Bosele Primary School food hampers, a wheel chair, Physical Education (PE) attire and sanitary pads.
 Handing over the gifts in Gaborone, South Regional General Manager, Mr Victor Peloetletse said the gifts were part of the group’s social responsibility (CSR) efforts.
Mr Peloetletse added that there were benefits to giving, such as social connection, invoking gratitude and spontaneity.
Area Councillor, Mr Mpule Maplanka expressed gratitude for the gifts, saying Sefalana had set the bar high and called on other members of the business community in the area to do the same.
 He pleaded with Sefalana to stretch their net to neighbouring Taung Primary School, which is also in his area.
 For his part, Sefalana Chief Executive Officer, Mr Gerhard Scheepers said they needed to help one another, calling on people to support Sefalana for it to continue lending a helping hand for the benefit of the community. Ends
