Issuance of election instrument for Mapoka-Nlaphkwane polling District By-election

Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Kenneth Autlwetse has ordered the holding of a by-election for the Mapoka-Nlaphkwane council seat in Tati West constituency.
A press release from the ministry states that the minister issued the election instrument in accordance with Section 154 (2) of the Electoral Act.
“He directed that the nominations of candidates in the aforementioned polling district be received on the 5th April 2023 between the hours of 9am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 5pm at Batanani Junior Secondary School in Mapoka,” says the release.
The release says the minister further directed that the poll, shall be taken on 29 April 2023. ENDS
