BMC register second win

BMC have registered a second win in four days after beating Orapa United home 3-2 on Tuesday, November 19 evening at Itekeng stadium.
The Lobatse outfit had of recent worked out a winning formula as besides collecting six points in four days, the team also managed to score seven goals and conceded four.
BMC started campaign into the current season on the backdrop of a tussle over ownership, but have started regrouping as the dust has now settled.
BMC got the lead on the 23rd minute of the game through their instrumental midfield player, Kemmy Pilato, who fired from outside the box to beat Orapa United goal keeper, Donald Mutari who was caught completely unaware.
Even though it was a high tempo game with both teams eager to score, the visitors had an upper hand, as Pilato controlled the game well with his defence splitting passes.
On one hand, Orapa United was also eager to get a goal and managed to equalise through left back, Olefile Magetse who moved forward and unleashed a powerful ball into the box only to be deflected by a BMC defender into his own net.
In the last seconds of the first half, Orapa United goal keeper failed to deal with a cross from a corner kick, giving Kutlo Sejeso an opportunity to put BMC further in front with an easy tap from inside the penalty box. After recess, Orapa United goal keeper, Mutari was substituted immediately before the second half resumed as the coach had enough of his errors.
However, BMC continued with the good game and a few minutes into the second half, on form Sageby Sandaka scored his fourth goal in two games to put the game far from the reach of away Orapa United.
The home team on the other hand continued searching for goals and managed to reduce the deficit on the 87th minute but, it was too late as BMC walked away with all the three points.
BMC coach, Daniel 'Chicco' Nare did not disappoint the football lovers who had come in large numbers as he introduced his new acquisition, Benedict Vilakazi. It was however, a late call as a few minutes after the former Orlando Pirates midfield maestro was introduced, the referee blew the final whistle. Vilakazi only managed to set foot on the turf of Itekeng stadium but did not make contact with the ball.
As for Orapa United, besides being on their maiden appearance in the elite league, the team started on a positive note and managed to collect maximum points in six outings. However, the going seems to be getting tough as the team registered a third defeat in a row. BOPA
