Women will meet to share and exchange beauty tips to enhance their image and confidence on March 19.

The two-hour session themed: Celebrating You Naletsana scheduled for House of Joss in Gaborone is expected to help women unwind.

The event is brought by the Founder of local skincare range Organic Naturals, Didintle Moreki.  

In an interview with BOPA recently Moreki revealed that self-care was important in one’s general wellbeing.

“We believe that self-care is not a luxury, but an essential aspect of our overall health and wellbeing,” skin specialist said.

Explaining why there was need to celebrate beauty and its essence Moreki said she believed that a woman felt confident, empowered, and celebrated when they looked their best, adding that attractive people tended to be more confident in their own skills.

“Beauty helps us form relationships with our environment, from food to landscape, to art and even with each other,” she said.

About the events of the day the Founder of Organic Naturals said because beauty emanated from within coupled with healthy diet, they had invited Gofaone Moyo, a local qualified sports nutritionist who has been engaged as dietitian for various meets such as Africa Youth Games and Tokyo Olympics among others.

Moyo is the brains behind the local nutrition consultancy that specialising in corporate wellness solutions, individual wellness coaching and food service management.

Moreki will also take the women through the importance of skincare.

The Gaborone based award-winning skincare manufacturing company housed at LEA Incubator and also the Forbes 30 under delegate will educate the women about how to restore their confidence and equip them with knowledge on how best to take care of their skin to avoid using chemicals and being exposed to sun rays which can lead to confidence issues and life- threatening diseases.

Also she will teach guests how to use Mowana, Morula, and Moringa to make their organic, chemical-free skincare products such as consisting of bar soaps toners, clay masks, serum, body butter, and body oils.

Other activities that forms part of the session is skin assessment which is essential for holistic care and the guests will also have the opportunity to be given free products. Attendees will part with P500. The sponsors of the event include  Raymond Plus Jeoffery and Gofaone Moyo.  ENDS
