Francistown DHMT registers Seven cases of COVID-19

Greater Francistown District Health Management Team (DHMT) has of last week recorded seven cases of COVID-19 and none of them was severe.
Senior Nursing Officer Ms Sekani Chikunyana said in an interview that fortunately, the active cases were not bad as most of the infected people had taken all doses including the booster.
She said six of the seven cases were recorded within the city of Francistown while one was from a nearby village.
“We encourage those who have not taken all doses to visit our health facilities to take those jabs. We currently have only Johnson and Johnson to administer in our district,” she said.
Furthermore, Ms Chikunyana was happy that the COVID-19 vaccine roll-out exercise for both pre-primary and primary pupils was going smoothly. ENDS
