Bana ba Kgwale festival revives dikhwaere tradition

The annual new-year Bana ba Kgwale Dikhwaere Festival was held at Mogoditshane Fighters Ground on Tuesday.
This year the festival attracted six choirs; Shinning Star, Kgatleng, Union, Kgosing, Maulana and Boseja choirs.
The festival is meant to resuscitate the tradition of dikhware in Mogoditshane. The other objective is to keep the youth engaged during the festive season as well as stimulate local economy by providing a platform for informal vendors to sell their products.
