Ghanzi Land Board personnel have been encouraged to keep working hard despite challenges.

Speaking during the land board chairman’s ball recently, Ghanzi Land Board deputy chairperson, Mr Patrick Thupe said the services provided by the land board were invaluable and thus appealed to staff not to despair amid lack of appreciation.

Mr Thupe extended a word of appreciation to land board staff for doing their best to execute their mandate.

He hailed the surveys department which won the chairman’s award for best performing department, for the unwavering efforts in helping the land board to deliver its mandate of land allocation.

The same sentiments were earlier expressed by chairperson, Mr Mothethi Kwadibe, who said technical and surveys department staff worked tirelessly for the land board to meet its allocation targets.

Mr Kwadibe said issuing of secure land titles was ongoing and thanked all stakeholders, including dikgosi, for contributing towards delivering on the land board’s mandate.ENDS
