Matswakabele gives back to community

Ten families in Kumakwane will have a cheerful Christmas courtesy of Matswakabele Social Club which gifted them with food hampers.
Formed June 2016, the club began donating to members of the community in 2018 and plans to do so annually.
Speaking during a hand over ceremony on Friday, Thamaga-Kumakwane Member of Parliament, Mr Palelo Mataosane said social clubs were no longer about soccer and just keeping fit but had incorporated corporate social responsibility to their roles as well.
Club chairperson, Mr Oteng Magwaneng said the club had a funeral cover open to all those who wished to join.
A beneficiary, Ms Kedibone Makukuba thanked Matswakabele Social Club on behalf of other beneficiaries.
“Thank you for the food hampers. They will feed our families this festive season,” she said. ENDS
