Sesung climbs onto technology bandwagon

In efforts to improve quality of service and customer experience, Mascom Wireless has expanded its Sesung network.
Speaking during an event to mark the network expansion on Friday, Mascom’s head of public relations and communications, Ms Tebogo Lebotse-Sebego explained that the company had installed 4G technology which would drastically improve communication.
“Our customers will have easy access to fast and reliable connectivity across the length and breadth of the country.
You will be able to easily make video calls as well as conducting virtual meetings,” she said.
Ms Lebotse-Sebego said customers would also be able to access different services such as Myzaka for which they had been travelling long distances and using a lot of money to access.
She also said Mascom Wireless pleaded with Sesung residents to look after the communication towers.
For his part, Sesu Primary School head, Mr Andrew Molale hailed the development saying it would address the network challenges the village had been struggling with.
“We have been experiencing challenges in Sesung such as poor network, which led to difficulty in making calls and holding virtual meetings as well as unavailability of other services such as Myzaka. We will now be able to do everything from Sesung without travelling to other areas,” Mr Molale said.
He said in the past, it took time to send messages using different ways including physical means.
“Through companies like Mascom, we communicate efficiently where recipients get the message immediately, doing that wherever, whenever and in the comfort of our homes and offices,” he said.
Different villagers took to the podium to thank Mascom for the development which they said would positively change their lives.
They would be able to save a lot of money, which they had been spending on transport as well as food on their travels to access services elsewhere, they said. Ends
