DC calls for productivity

14 Nov 2022

Civil servants have been urged to change their attitude towards work and to be more productive. Addressing employees under the Ministry of State President during a three-day team building exercise at Khwai, North West District commissioner, Mr Thabang Waloka complained about poor work ethic amongst some civil servants.

He emphasised the need to work as teams as they were serving the same customers. He also urged them to take advantage of the team building exercise to introspect with the aim to improve. He said they wanted a strong team of employees who were motivated and productive.

He also apprised the civil servants on the Reset Agenda, saying it called for all to change the way they had been doing things. He said they should work to the best of their potential in rendering services to the public.

Mr Waloka also noted that the country was still reeling from the effects of COVID-19 which affected all sectors of the economy.   “We should all leave behind our old ways and work as a unit to improve service delivery,” said Mr Waloka.ENDS
