Ngwato Landboard is planning to allocate both residential and business plots during this financial year, members of Ntlo Ya Dikgosi have heard.

Answering a question at Ntlo Ya Dikgosi on October 24, Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Mabuse Pule, on behalf of lands and water affairs minister, said that followed approval of the plots layout design in Moiyabana village in May by the Central District Council planning committee.

Mr Pule told members of Ntlo Ya Dikgosi that the layout comprised 488 residential and 26 business plots. 

“Ngwato Landboard plans to allocate the plots during the current financial year after completion of the process,” Mr Pule said.

Kgosi Nlakidzi Kabelo of Serowe Region had asked the minister to state when he intended to allocate residential plots at Moiyabana Village as it had been over 11 years without allocation. ENDS
