Monkeypox reports false

The Ministry of Health has dismissed media reports alleging that a monkeypox case has been confirmed in Molepolole.
The chief public relations officer for the ministry, Dr Christopher Nyanga advised the public not to panic.
He said if anything happened in terms of health issues, especially rare diseases such as monkeypox, the Ministry of Health would be the one to announce.
He said not only will the ministry announce, but would also tell the public what to do for the disease not to spread further.
Dr Nyanga requested the media not to report unconfirmed statements as they could cause confusion unnecessarily .
