Leaders need continuous learning

Leaders should continuously learn for them to be able to lead effectively, according the founder of PinnaLead, Ms Lorato Mosetlhanyane.
Briefing the media in Gaborone recently, Ms Mosetlhanyane said to this end, the company would host the 9th Live2Lead leadership conference on October 7 at Avani Gaborone resort and casino.
She explained that Live2Lead was a leadership development experience designed to equip leaders with new perspectives, practical tools and key takeaways, saying it subscribes to the notion that the best leaders are leaners, hence we say leaders should learn”.
Ms Mosetlhanyane said the one-day conference, which would be held under the theme: ‘Changing gears’ would feature both local and regional speakers, who would interact with participants face to face.
She said the day would end with the participants joining a leadership simulcast led by their mentor and the most influential leadership personality Dr John Maxwell.
Ms Mosetlhanyane said the main objective of the upcoming conference was to empower and inspire leaders, as there was no doubt that they were equally challenged by the economic environment; stressed like everyone else.
She said therefore, looking at the great line up of speakers, they would be empowered and inspired.
It would also afford leaders the opportunity to learn new leadership ideas from global leadership podiums with the rest of the world, she said. Ms Mosetlhanyane said the conference would also revive the leaders’ energy by bringing them the best leadership content that ‘inspires and motivates’.
