Dirt roads to be graded regularly
04 Sep 2022
Residents of Hebron in Goodhope- Mabule Constituency have been assured that all dirt roads will be graded regularly.
Addressing kgotla meetings Member of Parliament, Mr Eric Molale said issues such as grading of roads and maintenance of government buildings should be reported to relevant officers and not neccesarily to the MP.
He said it was the duty of assigned officials to ensure roads were maintained since they were best suited to come up with proper remedies.
Mr Molale also urged health personnel to ensure drugs availability in health posts and clinics.
He said health personnel had information on drugs needed at the facilities and should secure medication so that residents were assisted accordingly.
Residents complained about scarcity of drugs even though they did not have the means to get assistance elsewhere.
On a positive note, residents commended government for electricity connectivity at most villages in the district.
Mr Molale informed them that they should exercise patience because lack of funds affected developments. Ends
