Bow out Electrical and Instrumentation engineering servicing company has donated goods worth P50 000 to Letlhakane Primary Hospital on Tuesday.

Handing over the donation, the company’s Managing Director, Mr Felix Mah wandeya said COVID-19 had taught them to respect and prioritise key institutions that directly supported human existence and wellness, adding that the pandemic had proved the importance of hospitals.

Bow Out, a small medium sized enterprise provides solutions and services to mines in and out of Letlhakane.

Mr Mandeya said they realised that their employees, families and local community relied and continued to depend on Letlhakane Primary Hospital for their medical needs.

He indicated that it became apparent that if they needed to make meaningful contribution to Letlhakane and surrounding communities, Letlhakane Hospital should be first on the priority list.

The donation, he said would relieve some of the pressures on the hospital services.

The District Health Management Team Coordinator Ms Gasebotho Kedikilwe stated that stakeholder engagement was critical and an eye opener.

Ms Kedikilwe urged the hospital staff to benchmark against the private sector on service delivery.

The Deputy District Commissioner Mr Ewetse Selelo commended Bow Out for assisting the  Boteti community.

Mr Selelo implored Bow Out to consider investing in a project that would leave a lasting legacy, citing an incinerator or a hospital ward.

The Chief Medical Officer Dr Goitseone Mogorosi, said Letlhakane Primary Hospital was a primary hospital operating as a district hospital, noting that the district was very vast and had a huge number of population to serve.

Dr Mogorosi indicated that while Central Medical Stores was supplying them, it was not adequate. Ends
