voting goes well in Mochudi

Voting started earnestly at Boseja South in the Mochudi East Constituency. Two candidates have been filled to battle for the post that fell vacant following the death of the incumbent councillor for the ward early last year.

The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) is represented by Mr Tebogo Ntshole while Umbrella for Democratic Change’s (UDC) candidate is Mr Gomolemo Gouwe.

The five polling stations at Radikolo JSS. Kgafela Primary School, International Church. Matlhage fields, and St Faith church all opened on time. Presiding officers stated that so far they have not encountered any challenges.

A total of 2 846 are expected to cast their vote at the end of voting time at 1900hrs today. ends
