Vice President visits Modisenyane family

The Vice President, Mr Slumber Tsogwane, has comforted Modisenyane family of Tati Siding. The family lost Ms Kedibonye Modisenyane (72) after she was attacked on December 25
The perpetrator allegedly hit the victim, who was wheelchair-bound, leaving her with serious head injuries.
According to a family member, Mr Donald Sisk, the deceased was found struggling for breath and there was a naked man sleeping next to her.
Mr Siska said when they interrogated the man, he bolted out, but with the assistance of neighbours and Gerald police, they managed to catch him.
He said although the incident happened on December 25, Ms Modisenyane died on December 27.
Mr Siska described her as a loving person who was always jolly to everyone.
Mr Tsogwane said no one was prepared for such gruesome incident, adding that violence was a serious concern.
Mr Tsogwane said he visited the family to convey condolences from President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi and the First Lady Ms Neo Masisi.
Tati East MP, Dr Douglas Letsholathebe, said the incident was disheartening and such behaviour should be dealt with accordingly, adding that they would stand with the bereaved family in this time of sorrow . ENDS
