Letsholathebe Memorial Hospital receives seven Christmas babies

Letsholathebe Memorial Hospital in Maun was blessed with seven babies on Christmas Day - five girls and two boys.
In an interview on December 26, principal registered nurse, Ms Maureen Masweu said the first baby to be delivered was a girl, at about 12:30 midnight on Christmas morning, weighing about 3.2 kilograms.
She observed that six of the babies were born through natural birth while one was through caesarian operation.
Nonetheless, Ms Masweu said there were no challenges experienced by the hospital staff and said the babies and their mothers were in good health.
She said the last baby to be delivered was also a girl, at around 4:35pm on December 25, weighing about 2.8 kilograms. END
