Thamaga storm aftermath
03 Nov 2020
The hailstorm that swept through Thamaga on Sunday(November 1) evening left devastating damages to buildings and vehicles.
The violent storms and tennis-ball sized hailstones left every household with broken windows.
Vehicles were not spared as most of them had windscreens shattered and dented bodies.
Motor dealerships, scrap yards and hardwares were seen with long queues of people buying windows and parts for their damaged property.
The council is currently doing assessment of the damage. Photos: Godfrey Mpuse
