The number of motions adopted by Ntlo ya Dikgosi between 2015 and 2018 stands at 33 to date.

Responding to a question at Ntlo ya Dikgosi on Tuesday, Minister for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration, Mr Kabo Morwaeng said the ministry was currently working on strengthening the monitoring mechanism on implementation of motions which had been weak and needed to be strengthened. 

He noted that currently, they did not have readily available information on non-implementation since that responsibility lied with different ministries.

Minister Morwaeng said Ntlo ya Dikgosi should have an internal mechanism for follow-up and monitoring through its committees.

Kgosi Kgosidialwa Moalosi of Tonota region  had asked the minister to appraise the house on the number of motions adopted and implemented during the 2015-2018 period of the third Ntlo ya Dikgosi.

He also wanted to know the reason for delay in implementing motions and who should make a follow up on the implementation since the period had lapsed. Ends
