Dikoloti commends Lobatse Lion Club

The Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr Edwin Dikoloti has commended the Lobatse Lion club for its continued serving to the community.
When officiating at the event in Digawana recently, Dr Dikoloti said the club’s charitable work such as hosting health camps and giving free reading glasses to the elderly had left a remarkable mark over the years.
He encouraged the club members to continue serving the community and to live their motto which was to serve.
He said the gesture they displayed would never go unnoticed since they were supporting the government in ensuring that the community needs were met.
Lobatse Lion club President Ms Bolele Boima said their services to the community included distributing free reading glasses, blankets and conducting health camps just to mention a few.
She urged the community to always consult them if they needed any services saying it was the club’s mandate to serve the needy.
The area Councillor Mr Daniel Motlhabankwe thanked the Lion club for their gesture.
He indicated that the elderly were happy to have their eyes screened and said meeting the needs of the community was vital.
Mr Motlhabankwe hoped it was an unending partnership. ends
