President high level officials meet

President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi recently met with all government accounting officers and permanent secretary level officials to discuss an array of issues.
An Office of the President news release says discussions included progress on the implementation of the president’s roadmap and qualitative public service delivery.
It says President Masisi reiterated his unwavering commitment to good governance and upholding the rule of law.
In addition, he outlined his promises to the nation, especially, clean government and high performance, a diversified economy conducive for job creation and a polite, efficient, responsive, dynamic, impactful public service sensitive to the needs of the public, says the release.
It says the President also reiterated commitment to the protection of civil liberties including human rights, media and worship freedoms.
The release says the President’s convictions on transformation towards a knowledge-based economy, review and alterations to land patterns, elimination of any real or perceived creation of fear by state organs and a public service that upholds good ethics and integrity, also featured during the meeting.
President Masisi also stressed the importance of inculcating a culture of professionalism within the cadre, mutual respect at all levels of responsibility and performance management systems free of intimidation or malice, it says.
The President was accompanied by Minister for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration Mr Kabo Morwaeng and assistant Mr Dumezweni Mthimkulu. ENDS
