MP Dikoloti motivates Nthwalang school pupils

Mmathethe/ Molapowabojang MP, Dr Edwin Dikoloti has told Nthwalang Secondary School learners who would be sitting for the Junior Certificate exams that education has the potential to transform their lives.
When officiating at the prize giving ceremony on October 23, Dr Dikoloti cited himself as a product of the government education system and believed that they too could make it and succeed in life.
‘I have walked these corridors, have been a learner here and I have defied all odds to attaining higher education. I tell you now it is possible and you can do it,” he said.
Dr Dikoloti said he was aware that not all pupils were academically gifted. However he encouraged those who he said were born entrepreneurs to venture into business especially agribusiness, which he encouraged in his constituency.
On another note he said it was their role as leaders, teachers and parents to ensure that they created a conducive learning environment permitting every child to reach their full potential.
The School head, MS Olebile Mokgweetsi thanked the MP for gracing the event, adding that this year has been challenging because of the closure of schools due to COVID-19.
She said due to many school breaks, the mock examination pass rate was worrisome. However she hoped for the best.
She said they had tried the best to ensure that the pupils studied to prepare the learners for their exams.

Mr Raymond Malinga pledged 24 branded masks to best achievers and has promised to donate Hp laptops to any form 3 candidate who obtained grade A, uniform for them for the entire senior school life.
He also pledged free disinfection for all exam rooms.
He also donated 28 branded masks to all non-teaching staff, 12 to the PTA team, P1000 to the PTA and P2000 to Non-teaching staff. Ends
