Ministry warns in-disciplined students
11 Sep 2013
The Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD) has noted with great concern the current disturbances in some secondary schools caused by some in-disciplined individuals within the student population.
A news release from the ministry said it would like to take an opportunity to advise and warn those students involved to stop causing such disturbances.
“This is an important period where Standard 7, Form 3 and Form 5 candidates begin to sit for their final examinations. Parents and the community at large are therefore encouraged to help in advising their children and students in general to remain focused in their academic work,” states the release.
The ministry advised that students who were found to participate in or start disruptions or vandalise school property will be expelled from school. Ends
