Robot Auto and Spin city have donated P5 000 to Lobatse Town Council (LTC) as a way of giving back to the community.

When handing over the cheque, the managing director of Robot Auto Electricals, Mr Abdus Jalabdeen said his company saw it fit to donate to LTC as a way of showing appreciation to the town council for allowing them to host the street race in Lobatse recently.

“I assure you that every time after the race we will be assisting the LTC with whatever we have as a way of making Lobatse alive and also to encourage the spin race in the town,”‘ he said.

For her part the deputy mayor, Ms Malebogo Kruger appreciated the contribution made by both companies in assisting government provide services to the community.

“They are really angels of excitement as they first brought the race to our town now they are here again donating some money that will be used to help the less privileged,” she said.

Ms Kruger appreciated the partnership between LTC and both the two companies adding that Lobatse will be known country wide because of the race.

She urged them to continue supporting the council adding that the money will be used efficiently to assist the needy in the town. Ends
