Company donates to Kediretswe clinic
12 Dec 2019
A nurse at Kediretswe Clinic in Palapye, Ms Ketlantshang Seteregane, has praised Doosan Heavy Industries and Construction Company (D HIC) for ensuring that the 24-hour clinic delivers its manade accordingly.
She said this on December 10 when the company donated medical equipment and supplies to the clinic.
The donation included an examination bed, nebulizing machine, examination lamp, drip stand, tables and chairs, among other things.
Ms Seteregane said the donation came at the right time given the clinic’s operating hours and being one of the busiest in Palapye.
She said the equipment would ease their job and make a difference in patients’ lives.
Ms Seteregane said since the initiation of integration of services in their facility last year, they opted to introduce third consultation room to counteract congestion which contributed to shortage of some equipment such as examination bed, adding that they were going to have three fully functional consultation rooms.
She said through the donation, Kediretswe staff members, would have comfortable furniture that would help them work effectively.
Doosan Heavy Industries and Construction managing director, Mr Suho Kim, said his company had been in Palapye since October 2015.
The company has been contracted to refurbish Morupule ‘A’ power station.
For his part, Kgosi Michael Maforaga of Serorome ward thanked the company for this donation, saying it would benefit residents of Palapye.
He said the property needed to be taken care off, together with staff protection thus stressing the importance of providing security guards at the clinic. ENDS
