IEC confirms closure of polling stations

IEC spokesperson, Mr Osupile Maroba, has just confirmed that all polling stations closed at 7pm and some polling areas have started verification.
“We’re expecting some results between 11pm and midnight for local government”. All results will be announced by the retaining officer at counting centres and will be received as valid. ENDS
