Thekisho motivates entrepreneurs

South Africa’s entrepreneur, Mr Tebogo Thekisho aka Proverb has advised budding entrepreneurs to be in constant pursuit of new opportunities to grow their businesses.
Speaking during ProTips Entrepreneurship Masterclass hosted by Dreamers Avenue in Gaborone recently, Mr Thekiso challenged attendants to strive to soar higher.
“Never limit yourselves, but rather aspire to constantly learn, grow and vary your trades,” he said.
The rapper, producer, presenter of television music show, Idols South Africa, who is now a profound businessman implored the youth to take advantage of beckoning opportunities.
Mr Thekisho emphasised the importance of building a brand in business.
“To diversify, one has to be cognizant of their industry’s various avenues and beyond,” Mr Thekisho added.
Former Miss Botswana Ms Malebogo Marumoagae-Monare also shared some business tips and encouraged youth especially women to develop themselves.
She echoed sentiments that young people should constantly enhance their knowhow by reading on various subjects to develop themselves.
Ms Marumoagae-Monare, an International Women in Conference Botswana master minder, encouraged women to embrace their femininity, adding that sometime women’s strength was their suppleness.
She indicated that every business success was derived from being around people with same vision, dreams and aspirations.
The former queen urged youth to associate with people who talk the same language as them in order to realise their dreams.
“It is important that you run your race and make effort to improve yourselves,” Ms Marumoagae-Monare said.
ProTips Entrepreneurship Masterclass initiative was aimed at promoting diverse thinking for young people in business.
Mr Ontiretse Tshiamiso, organiser of the event, indicated that they used Mr Thekisho’s career to motivate young people since he was a diverse businessman.ENDS
