Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Kgotla Autlwetse has extended gratitude to the President, Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi for supporting the Serowe District Trade and Exhibition Show.

Mr Autlwetse who is also the Member of Parliament for Serowe North said Dr Masisi’s support showed his commitment in transforming the agricultural sector and the proposed land use policy changes.

The saying, ‘our land our investment’ he said challenged farmers to utilise their land to produce enough food for consumption as well as exporting some and feeding their livestock.

The assistant minister also commended sponsors of the show, for making it happen adding that the show mirrored their commitment in collectively unlocking the potential that defined transformation agriculture in the 21st century . He appealed to them to invest more.

The show committee chairperson, Mr Keletso Rakhudu appreciated their main sponsor, CEDA and appealed to them to continue with supporting the event because it benefited not only the agricultural sector but others such as transport, hospitality and the small businesses. Ends
