 In a mission to become a leading digital service provider of choice, Mascom has launched MySurf Triple Play broadband service.

Speaking at the launch, Mascom head of administration, Ms Dzene Seboni said the wireless network service company had made several products that are deemed the foundation of digital transformation.

She said Mascom continued to solidify its leadership position by making bold investment decisions and introducing new concepts and new services to the market.

She   explained that the future of the mobile network business was in digital inclusion, hence Mascom’s efforts to become a more digitally transformed organisation that offers a digitally transforming service to the consumers.

“We live in an era where customers and consumers of various media really want to be in control and want to have choice, this is what the Mascom MySurf brings to the consumer,” she said.

Ms Seboni explained that the service was a triple play product offering customer base data, mobile voice and entertainment.

She said the Mascom MySurf offered unlimited data, entertainment from the MyPlay entertainment library and Mascom chat minutes as well as sms.
 

She said the service allowed people a personalised viewing experience and gave them a wide range of entertainment, adding that  it is convenient as it can be used on the go, at home and at the office.

The new service benefits include unlimited data on 4G/3G Mascom network, SVOD free monthly subscription to MyPlay services, Plug and Play feature, no installation fees, a free router device and all communication needs in one.

Customers who purchase MySurf unlimited services will be offered three sim cards, one for the router and the other two sim cards for mobile bundled voice calls.

The usage number of each router depends on the device and the data package.

Further, Ms Seboni said customers would find great value coupled with a great network experience when they subscribe to the MySurf product, adding that the MySurf service cements Mascom’s commitment to provide the best value for money for its customers.

The new broadband service is the first triple play service of its kind in Botswana, but has been available internationally. ENDS
