No access to BAITS online system during upgrading

Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food Security says farmers will not have access to the BAITS online system from May 21 to June 12 due to the system being upgraded.
According to a press release from the ministry, farmers are advised to seek assistance from veterinary offices for any transactions they may wish to carry out in the system.
The public is also informed that during the same period, registration of new keeper accounts and brands would not be available to the public.
The release further advises farmers to submit to their nearest veterinary offices a complete census of their cattle, which should reflect all the cattle alive and dead for a particular farmer. ENDS
