Gumare youth establishes laundromat

Ms Joseph said the Department of Youth in Gumare funded her business with P99 000.
She embarked on an advertising campaign to get more clients.
Cool Touch operates with two washing machines and one drying machine.
She said she hoped that her business would grow into a dry clean one day.
One of the clients, Ms Boshale Kagiso, said that the services came at the right time when Gumare was developing.
She said that when she learnt that a laundry service was opened nearby, it excited her as the service was reachable and sometimes it saves time rather than one taking the whole day doing laundry.
“I can assure you that they have customers, because some people are lazy to do their washing and usually hire people to do so,” she said.
Ms Joseph however said it was going to take time for people who were used to doing their own laundry to take advantage of the new service. Ends
