Molefhi in Accra for Annan funeral

Minister for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration, Mr Nonofo Molefhi is representing the Botswana government at today’s state funeral of former UN Secretary General, Mr Kofi Atta Annan in Accra, Ghana.
A press release from the Ministry of International Affairs and Cooperation, says Mr Annan served as the seventh UN secretary general from January 1997 to December 2006. He was awarded the 2001 Nobel Peace Prize jointly with the UN.
It further states that he was a consummate diplomat who dedicated his entire working life towards serving humanity.
Minister Molefhi returns home tomorrow. ENDs
