Marriage sacred - Masisi

President Mokgweetsi Masisi has appealed to spouses to respect and protect the marriage institution.
Mr Masisi said this at the wedding ceremony of the families of Kgosikoma and Botlhale in Ghanzi on August 25.
He said protecting and respecting marriage institution does not only refer to married couples, but everyone especially if in relationships.
When encouraging the couple; Mr Masisi said it was a joy to see young people tying bthe knot.
He urged the couple to love and respect each other.
The groom’s uncle Mr Moses Morolong also emphasised love and respect to the newlyweds.
He said consultation was important in marriage and advised his niece to devise a working strategy for his marriage so that it lasts.
Elders who attended the wedding also gave words of encouragement reiterating that love should be the pillar of the marriage.
The newly-weds were advised to put God before everything and invite Him at all times.
They also advised the bride to love and embrace people around her at her new family, adding that it was upon her to strengthen relations between the two families. ENDS
