In an interview, DJ Ponalty said the album would comprise of 12 tracks.

The Molepolole-born artiste, who is not new to music industry, said he was born into a family of artistes, something, which inspired his love for music.

Although his cousins who mostly inspired him were musicians, DJ Ponalty took a different path of being a dick jockey.

The album, he said was recorded at different music studios adding that he did the production with one Tempo, Blocks and Estoss.

Despite his talent in music, DJ Ponalty said he never planned to get into the field, but later realised that music was a calling for him as he started singing from a young age doing choral and later learnt to compose his own music.

After completing BGCSE he joined a DJ group that was based in Kanye called, Forget the World, which produced different music genres.

“This is the group that instilled in me the love for music and better improved my music knowledge. I later parted with it and signed with a different label,” he said.

DJ Ponalty said he was also inspired by international DJs such as DJ Hardwell, Nickero Mero and Luccason Steve, while he looks up to German Dollar and Jeff Cooper in the local music scenes.

He said he was optimistic that his album, which would be released mid-June would do well in the market and open more doors for him.

The young artiste pointed out that although his parents did not like the idea of him getting into music, they were now supporting him.  Ends
