Speaking at the commemoration of International Nurses Day Gala Dinner in Mochudi, under the theme; A nurse a Voice to Lead, Health is a Right, recently, Mr Molebatsi said nurses should develop a soft spot for their profession and learn to give positive results.

He said although nurses face challenges such as low wages, such should not stop them from delivering.

He said unions such as BONU, advocate for their rights and they should therefore use them, urging them to ensure they are protected when on duty as they deal with different patients.

Mr Molebatsi also encouraged nurses to build relations with the society and respect each other’s dignity to provide better services.

Ms Tsheko said the nursing field is a fragile profession that needs genuine care and urged nurses to relate well with the society and provide best health care services.

“A nurse is a person strong enough to tolerate everything and soft enough to understand everyone” she said.
