Moshupa-Manyana bye-election billed for June 16

President Mr Mokgweetsi Masisi has issued a Writ of Election in accordance with Section 34 of the Electoral Act, (Cap. 02.09) ordering the holding of a bye-election for the Member of Parliament for Moshupa-Manyana Constituency. A press release from Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) says the summon was passed on May 9.
It says President Masisi directed that nomination of candidates for the bye-election in the aforesaid constituency be received on May 25 from 9am to 1pm and 2:30pm to 5pm at Moshupa Senior Secondary School.
The release further states that any poll, which may become necessary, shall be held on June 16. ENDS
