Kang police are investigating an accident that left two occupants with severe bodily injuries while the minor escaped with no injuries after a Toyota Hilux Double Cab they were travelling in veered off the road and hit several trees. 

In an interview, Kang Police Station Commander, Superintendent Olebeng Chingabe said the accident occurred on Monday morning (April 30) around 11am, about 15km away from Kang along the Trans-Kalahari highway.

He said the car, which was from Hukuntsi heading to Gaborone, had three occupants, driver (51), a woman aged 69 and a boy aged 12.

He said the seriously injured passengers were rushed to Kang Clinic and later on transferred to Princess Marina Hospital.

Supt. Chingabe said investigations were still at a preliminary stage to find out what could have caused the accident. ENDS
