Extension 2 clinic closes indefinitely

The Ministry of Health and Wellness informs the public that further to earlier communication regarding operation at the Extension 2 clinic, services are temporarily suspended until further notice.
A press release from the ministry states that in the meantime, members of the public who normally use the clinic are requested to use nearby government health facilities in Bontleng, Phase 2, Gaborone West, Lesirane and Nkoyaphiri.
Meanwhile, it was reported that early Sunday morning (April 22) one of the clinic female nurses was raped which on duty while she was on a health break at around 4am.
The nurse was seen by doctors the same morning in the clinic and the incident was reported to the police. ENDS
